Color Plot is one of the various technical screens available to the propeller technologist. This screen graphically demonstrates the imperfections of the propeller prior to repair. Color bands represent actual segments on each blade. Green indicates the blade segments where the local pitch is within acceptable limits. All other colors indicate locations where the blade is out of tolerance. By the color the technologist knows if that point is too high or too low in pitch and by how much. Because each blade is outlined by the color pattern and identified in the plot the technologist is able to visualize the various locations on each blade that require correction.
